Blog, Interrupted.

Hey gang.

First off, my apologies for the abrupt message any of you received when trying to check in on the ol’ blog over the past week. I was leaving town for the Christmas holiday and needed to create a quick fix before abandoning the interwebs for a few days.

In the early pages of Lolita, Nabokov explains how the main character’s mother died with just a few words in parenthesis: My very photogenic mother died in a freak accident (picnic, lightning) when I was three.

In an effort to spare you all a long recap of all that prompted me to have to block viewers last week I’ll make an attempt at Nabokov’s method as well (dating situation gone arye, google, uncomfortable amount of internet stalking).

I hate the fact that I feel the need to limit my readership (I don’t even know some of my favorite reader’s email addresses!) but until things calm down a bit (or I can figure out a way to make it utterly impossible to find this blog when googling my name) I’m going to have to keep things under a bit of a lock-down.

Sigh.

How’s that for end of the year drama?

Still, I’d like to get back to our regularly scheduled programming if you’re all game. I hope if any of you have friends who are readers you’ll feel free to let them know I’m happy to add them to my list of ‘invites.” I just need them to drop me a line at kellisblogATgmailDOTcom or kelli921ATgmailDOTcom.

Phew.

Here we go.

Also, since I tend to read keywords before I actually read the whole text - panic! mother died! - I am glad this is not about your mother. WHEW.

Oh wow. I'm glad to be an invited reader, I was a little worried about you when I tried to access it yesterday.

Oh, and glad you're okay, sorry for the "all about me". :)

So am I going to have to come to Boston to kick some boy butt? I could use a vacation. Let me know, girl, I'm there.

OK, I'm on board, wherever the blogging breezes take us.

Holy crap! That's actually kinda scary. I hope this is the biggest inconvenience you are faced w/ though. God, people can be such jerks.

The unlucky stalker and "family" just got cut from the best blog ever! Revenge is so sweet! Keep writing...I'll keep reading.
