Game #1.

Tomorrow, we will not talk about our current standings. We will dismiss our losing streak, we'll ignore the chatter about what's wrong in our dugout. Our 2011 0-6 record will recede further into our minds. We will not wallow.

Instead, we'll awake to face a new day in baseball. At 2:05pm, a fresh, rested pitcher will step to the mound, and all of our previous games won't matter anymore. We will be at Fenway Park.

We will be home.

And for the very first time in my life, I will be there.
